Roadtrip; Prom Country
A very impromptu roadtrip planned for Darren’s friend from Canberra. This time, we didn’t get lost. We headed down at 4am from the city, all the way to Waratah Bay to catch the sunrise (but failed, because of the gloomy weather, ok you get the picture), then to Wilsons Promontory National Park, (trekked up mountainous land with inappropriate gear), after that, lunch at Fish Creek (a really small town), and had terrible fish & chips (again).
From there, we decided that since it was still early, we decided to head up to Phillip Island, to look for penguins. They’re really cute and tiny, (a pity we weren’t allowed to take photos). Had awesome nuggets and chips, and later, travelled back towards Clayton for late dinner at some Korean place. Decided to surprise jinghui at her place, but it was unsuccessful, as her house was dark and creepy. The day ended with a long drive back to the city, passing by Chapel Street to amuse ourselves with drunkards going crazy.
Note to self; Packaging assignment due on 16th April.
